3RD GRADE, ROOM 14, MS. DOUANGSITTHI: ADORABLE ANIMALS AND NATURE WALK OUTING 

Four hard-working students and Ms. Douangsitthi will go together to Wallis Annenberg PetSpace in Playa Vista to visit some adorable and adoptable animals! Then we'll take a nature stroll along the Wetland/ Bluff Trails. The outing will end at Islands (Howard Hughes Center) where the students will be treated to a delicious meal! Students must be comfortable around all types of critters. The outing will take place on Wednesday, April 2nd. Ms. D. will shuttle the kids to PetSpace after school at 2:45 PM and parents will pick up from Islands at 6 PM.

Four lucky students from Ms. Vo's and Mrs. Prado's class - Reading Buddies will embark on an exciting trip to the California Science Center. Highlights include: Hands-on science exploration that will spark curiosity and excitement, an awe-inspiring IMAX movie experience that brings science to life, and a fun and social lunch at the food court to round out the day. This is more than just a visit- it's an adventure your child will treasure forever! This activity will take place on Saturday, April 5th from 11-3 pm. Pizza and Painting with your Big/Little Buddy! Join Mrs. Gonzalez and Ms. Gee for a fun day of making your own pizza and painting with your Big/Little Buddy! One bid is for your child and their big/little buddy. Please make sure to coordinate with the other family and bid together. There will be 2 top bidders chosen from each class with a total of 8 students. The event will take place on Saturday, April 5th. Students will be dropped off at 11:00pm and picked up at 2:00pm by families. Again one bid is for 2 students, your child and their buddy!
