What is Bid Week?
Bid Week is an exciting Mar Vista Elementary tradition and group effort including staff, parents and Gala committee members. Bid Week is a magical opportunity for you to win exciting staff-hosted experiences, one-of-a-kind class artwork and unique theme baskets.
Bid Week is Blind Bidding! What is that?
Blind Bid auctions accept bidding without knowing the latest bid or highest bid. All bids for each package will be submitted via Bid Form with the highest possible bid you are willing to offer for that item or experience. The highest bidder at the close of the auction will be contacted as the winner. If multiple packages are offered, the top bids for spots available will be contacted as the winners. Bid generously to take home your package!

The “Bids For Kids” Tradition
The annual Mar Vista Elementary Bids For Kids Gala & Auction is an exciting two weeks of fundraising events, in-person and online, benefiting the students of Mar Vista Elementary School and led by MVE’s parent-led booster club Mar Vista School Enrichment Group (MVSEG).
In the first week, you will have a chance participate in Bid Week, blind bidding on classroom works of art, baskets lovingly prepared by class parents, and outings for children, hosted by the MVE staff.
In the second week, explore the online auction of hundreds of amazing experiences, products and services - for both children and adults - donated by parents, community businesses and much-loved brands.
Finally, at the close of our online auction week, join us on Saturday evening, March 22, at the Annual Bids For Kids Gala for an evening of dining, drinks, dancing, fundraising and celebrating Mar Vista Elementary.

ABOUT MVSEG
The Mar Vista School Enrichment Group (MVSEG) is a non-profit organization that was established in 1988. Parent-run, our mission is to raise funds for programs and that will enrich and diversify the educational experience for all students. With the active support of the teachers and our principal, we volunteer our knowledge, time and resources in a variety of ways, including the planning of the Mar Vista Elementary Annual Gala & Auction.
